I decided to illustrate the streets that make up Armory Square because I imagine it's just as entertaining of a place with no people around as it is during peak times when people flock around Starbucks to get their caffeine fill. I knew I wanted to include the red bricks as well as the stop sign because the reds would go well with the blue of the night. I also made sure to illustrate a large area so that the piece felt more open. I often times wish that I had more opportunity to relax in Armory Square and just draw and observe people. I'm sure it's a great place for that.
