The haiku reminds me of an early morning when there are still animals wandering around the city before the rush hour begins. It also speaks to me about how both animals and humans share the same place we call home. I find this scene very peaceful so I used gentle blues and yellows to describe the time of day. It reminded me of when I would bike to campus from Jamaesville, using Nottingham Road to get there. I enjoy nature as much as I enjoy doing outdoor activities. I believe it gives me an important perspective of the life around us.
