Westcott's rich flavor
I love Westcott neighborhood because there are a variety of musical offerings. My favorite musical offerings are given by local musicians. Living in the neighborhood, I am blessed being around musicians from all different backgrounds and cultures. Music is my inspiration and what brings me the greatest sense of contentment, when it flows from the heart. Westcott neighborhood is rich for heart-felt musicians.
You can find me listening to music at any point in the day, anywhere. Music definitely plays a part in my work, be it a certain poster, or album cover that inspires me for a piece. I specifically chose this haiku because it is about several genres of music, and references Wescott Theater. I've attended a few shows there over the years and it has such a lively feel. Also, I thought it would be a great way for me to play with designing gig posters for concerts. It's an area I definitely want to get into as a part of my career.
